These things and the need to provide a second income for our family are what led me to open Amy's Sonshine Place in September 2007.Before working in the corporate world for 8 years, I was a 5th grade teacher with a degree in Elementary Education and a Kindergarten Endorsement. Prior to that, I taught preschool classes and worked in a Christian childcare office for 2 years while completing my college degree. I have many years of experience in caring for children of all ages and also grew up with my mom operating a home daycare and understand all that comes with it: long hours, wear-and-tear of your home, and an overwhelming love for the children in my care. |
